Mum Painting Workshops for Children, Teens, and Adults

Mum Fest Weekend in Barberton is quickly approaching.  I will also be offering 2 stylized mum painting workshops in my art studio.  You will choose a color scheme you like, and use simple techniques to create a lovely piece of art on canvas using acrylic paints.  Painters are always welcome to go rogue and create something different, using the resources provided!

Children's Mum Painting Workshop
Saturday, 9/23, 11 a.m. - noon.  We will work on canvases that are 11 x 14 or 12 x 12 and using acrylic paints.  $20

Adult and Teen Mum Painting

I am bursting with delight for the classes I am offering this fall!  We have so many chances to create calm and creativity in so many different ways!  I will be highlighting some of my favorites over the next couple weeks!  There are opportunities for children and adults.  There is art and yoga.  There are homeschool options during the day, and so many other amazing chances for us to connect!

Lakeside Plein Air 2017

So a couple weeks ago was my favorite weekend of the summer.  I participated in the Lakeside Plein Air Festival in Lakeside, Ohio.  This was the 4th year I participated, and boy how my style and experience has changed in that time!  This year we camped, which turned out to be fairly remarkable.  I saw some old friends, and I painted, painted, and painted!

I've always enjoyed throwing painting on canvases in my backyard, but there is something so amazing about painting what you see outside.

Here are a few highlights:
